I trained as a teacher and worked on and off over 10 years until I could no longer get work in the area.

I retrained in retail and ran op shops for charity before moving in to the ER area where I did my cert 4 in community services.

When I completed that I felt I wanted to do more study and discovered the diploma.

I did my work placement at Anglicare in 2011 and was offered a full time job in 2012.
